30A - no oil

Wide beaches that have sand as pure and white as sugar....welcome to the Florida Panhandle...some of the BEST most amazing beaches in the world. This was the view from the balcony at our condo this weekend and I was loving that this place still has natural sand dunes and a fairly expansive beach...oh yes, and no oil yet! I am devastated by the oil spill in the Gulf and praying for wisdom in the area of off-shore drilling in the future. I was also ecstatic to see that the beaches I love the most are still doing well. Saying a little prayer for the gulf.

Barton

I could photograph the weather vane all day. This is the very top of the Ted Shawn Theatre at Jacob's Pillow Dance (You're welcome, Devo.)  The silhouette on top of the weather vane is based on Barton Mumaw, one of the original Men Dancers at Jacob's Pillow (Yes, I linked it again.).  Its a beautiful day in the Berkshires and luckily I was able to get outside a little.

Jacob's Pillow

The Ted Shawn Theatre. This is the mainstage theatre at Jacob's Pillow Dance in Becket, Massachusetts, where I am the Associate Production Manager during its 10-week dance festival.  This is absolutely the most historically significant dance theatre in America, with the oldest dance festival in the nation.  This is my second year at the Pillow, but its like I never left. I love it here!
