November Rain

Hurricane / Tropical Storm Ida dropped 4.3 inches of rain on Birmingham yesterday! Birmingham is now a foot and a half over the normal rainfall for the year. I was leaving work yesterday and noticed how all the rain and the lights from the BJCC Concert Hall made everything all bright and shinny! Sorry its from the Iphone again...but with an extra foot and a half of rain lately you can see why I might not be totting my Cannon all the time!

Alternate title for this picture is "Every light in the house is on" because I started singing that song as soon as I walked out and saw this yesterday!

What do you see

What do you see in this picture. This is my view (again from my house due to sickness) of Tony's art he made this past year at BCT. The paint was all from BCT's show Pinocchio and its was a process piece. I got it last time I was really sick so I think its an appropriate post now.

A different view of a sign we see all the time. In the background normally you would see a vista of downtown B'ham but for the past few days all you will see is this...grey

90 Years

How amazing 90 year old hands are. Hands that have worked, loved, planted, grown, taught and comforted and continue to do so everyday. Happy 90th Birthday to my Grandmother.
