Late Afternoon

Here's a little bit of sunshine for those of you who have been stuck in the rain all week. I was outside drawing this afternoon and caught this angle of the flowers catching some afternoon sun.

Statues in the woods

I feel so lucky to live in one of the few places in the world where I can wander down a path into the woods and find a 10-foot headless statue lounging among the goldenrod.
